We recently teamed up with Dream Digital to complete a conversion of a WordPress.com website to a self hosted WordPress website for the Distribution Form. The distribution form is an annual event for the high-tech power distribution industry organized by Sentient Energy.
We’re big fans of WordPress.com for getting started blogging. The platform is not really made, however, for website owners who want complete flexibility in website design and functionality.
Using the Divi theme from Elegant Themes, we created a single page website that allows visitors to obtain the information they need about the event quickly. The website looks great on desktops and mobile phones alike.
Because GoatCloud also hosts the website we were able to provide a free SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt for secure browsing.
