New Website for Women Across Frontiers — An international quarterly digital publication dedicated to furthering gender equality around the globe.

We recently took over and completed website development for an outstanding new publication dedicated to promoting women’s rights around the world. The site, in English with many Spanish translations, uses a responsive theme, Divi, from Elegant Themes. Because it’s responsive, it responds to screens of all sizes, or is what is commonly called “mobile friendly” (even though we all know how mobile we are when we surf the ‘net on our phones, duffs firmly planted on our couches). One of the challenges of the site was displaying a set of profiles of notable Israeli women. We deployed a portfolio slider that tastefully shows profile images of the women, with links to the relevant profiles. You can see those profiles here. The project illustrated a way of working that we enjoy. The WAF team and GoatCloud shared an online folder of content for the website. Ongoing emails helped to shape individual activities. We made use of Asana.com to keep track of the myriad tweaks and changes to be accomplished as the publication was ready to launch. It was a very collegial experience, and we timely got done what needed to happen. We couldn’t be happier to be associated with this effort and we wish the team much success.
