New website and Etsy store for watercolor artist Robert Lynk

Oct 9, 2014 | Artist, Portfolio, Website design

We recently completed a “twofer” for local watercolor artist Robert Lynk. First, we put together a simple portfolio site that highlights that pastoral scenes he likes to paint. We helped with choosing a color scheme and watermarking the images (making them harder for someone to just take from the site without attribution), and presenting them in a way that people can readily see the fine work he’s done. The site is responsive (mobile ready) so it looks good on devices of all sizes. By design it is quite simple. You can learn a bit about the artist, see his work, and contact him. We also provide hosting for the site. Check out Bob’s wonderful paintings here: http://robertlynk.com/

Second, we set up an Etsy story so that Bob could sell high quality prints of his paintings. Previously sales had occurred largely by word of mouth and as a result of Bob’s participation at art shows. Now, the world is a potential market.
