We recently created a brand new WordPress website for Rivertown Mediation, a family mediation firm based in Ardsley, NY.
Rivertown’s owner, Susan Clelland, favored clean, simple design that would look great on mobile devices. We delivered, deploying Elegant Themes’ Divi theme. The site is responsive (works well with mobile by “responding” to screens of a different size), has simple navigation, and minimalist design elements. As a local business, it was paramount to display contact information readily, which is accomplished at the top and bottom of the screen. Mobile users can “tap” on Rivertown’s phone number and launch a call.
We used colors suggested by Rivertown’s business card and logo – peaceful blues and greens – entirely appropriate for alternative and civil dispute resolution services. We created with Rivertown’s input the home page graphic.
We also provided Susan with WordPress training so that she may update her site on her own and, importantly, take care of on-site search engine optimization (SEO) activities. We are delighted to be hosting the site, too.
