What is a Quick Response (QR) Code?

A QR code allows an individual with a smart phone and the proper app to snap a quick picture of the code. The app then typically delivers the snapper via the smartphone’s browser to a URL that may be the home page of a website or perhaps a page unique to some special promotion. The notion is that someone somewhere will be moved by whatever it is they are experiencing enough to get out the smartphone and take a picture of the QR code that is somehow integrally brought into the experience. In many instances this is simply a QR code on a print advertisement. Stranger things could happen.

We have Quick Response codes. How about a QestR Code?
